Dodge Demon 1/25 scale 3d printed TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHAT ARE RESIN PARTS LIKE TO WORK WITH? Resin parts are a little more weak and delicate than standard plastic and may need extra fit and finish. To get the ultimate detail, you may need to sand and/ or prime! This is a learning process to be sure. The process of 3d Printing can cause what’s know as “layer lines”. These may need to be sanded and primed for a perfect surface. Please note, I attempt to print at very high quality (time consuming) to keep these as little as possible, but may still occur. HOW WILL MY ITEMS BE SHIPPED? Either a box or a bubble mailer. Items will be wrapped in either bubble wrap or crinkle cut paper also. What determines box or bubble mailer depends on the item and or quantities. Small durable items might be shipped in the bubble mailer more delicate items will be shipped in a box. The reason we are able to keep our prices as reasonable as possible is not having fancy packaging and trying to keep costs as low as possible. Please be reassured, this is NEVER at the risk of the order being damaged! WHEN WILL MY ITEM BE SHIPPED? Our OFFICIAL days of shipping are M W F, however, realistically speaking we ship almost daily! ARE MY ITEMS PRINTED AND READY TO SHIP? Mostly yes! We try not to have an ad up, unless it is ready to go… sometimes things happen (item breaks while packing, whatever) generally speaking, this does not effect your shipping time, but can happen and we do our best to keep you informed. RETURN POLICY This is the tricky part. WE ALWAYS DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO MAKE MY CUSTOMER FRIENDS HAPPY! Sometime things happen, item may arrive broken or something was missed. If this happens, first and foremost We ask you be HONEST, this helps to keep costs low for YOU, US, and the entire model building community. If there is a problem, we may ask for photo proof (good fences good neighbors). If a return is needed, we ask that if you were going to order anything else to please do so and we will include the replacement so that we can keep the costs overall as low as possible for EVERYONE. If you didn’t want to pick up anything else THAT IS NO PROBLEM EITHER. We will work with you to every last breath so everyone walks away happy. I LOVE YOUR STUFF AND WANT TO SHOW IT OFF! That’s awesome, we get a thrill from that, head over to Instagram and tag, DM us “hooliganscalemodels”

Prepping and Paint

Prep and Paint instruction

removing supports

Removing Supports (If Present)

Some parts may still be attached to printing supports for protection.

Recommended Tools:

  • Flush cutters / sprue cutters
  • Hobby knife (X-Acto style)
  • Fine sanding sticks (400–1000 grit)
  • Safety glasses

Instructions:

• Work slowly — resin is rigid and can snap if stressed
• Always cut supports — do NOT twist parts off
• Hold the part securely while snipping supports
• Remove remaining nubs carefully with a hobby knife
• Lightly sand contact points smooth

For best finish quality, final sand with 800–1000 grit before priming.

Cleaning and Prep

Even fully cured resin should be cleaned before painting.

  1. Wash in warm (not hot) water with mild dish soap
  2. Gently scrub with a soft toothbrush
  3. Rinse thoroughly
  4. Allow to fully air dry before priming

Do NOT use acetone or harsh solvents.

Painting Guide

For best paint adhesion:

• Lightly scuff surface with 800–1000 grit sandpaper
• Apply a thin coat of quality primer

Recommended primers:

  • Tamiya Fine Surface Primer
  • Mr. Surfacer
  • Automotive filler primer (larger scale parts)

Resin accepts:

  • Acrylic paints
  • Enamel paints
  • Lacquer paints (test first)

Apply multiple light coats to preserve fine detail.

Adhesives & Instalation

These parts are resin — standard plastic model cement will NOT work.

Use:

  • CA glue (cyanoacrylate / super glue) — thin or medium
  • 2-part epoxy (for larger or heavier parts)

Tips:
• Lightly scuff glue contact areas for stronger bond
• Use minimal glue to avoid detail loss
• Accelerator may be used sparingly

Warnings

Important Information & Warnings

  • Resin is rigid and may be brittle in thin areas
  • Do not bend parts
  • Avoid excessive heat (may cause warping)
  • Sanding resin produces dust — wear a mask when sanding heavily
  • Not intended for children under 14
  • Small parts may present a choking hazard

Warping Fix

Warping Fix (If Needed)

this is iffy if it works

If minor warping occurs during shipping:

  1. Dip part in hot (not boiling) water for 5–10 seconds
  2. Gently adjust shape
  3. Hold in position while cooling
