Hooligan Builds Privacy Policy

Hooligan Builds is operated by Hooligan Scale Models. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the Hooligan Builds mobile application and how that information is used.
Information We Collect
When you create an account, we may collect your email address, username, display name, profile information, and account identifier.
When you use Hooligan Builds, we may collect content you choose to submit, including model-build photographs, build titles, descriptions, scale information, product tags, likes, giveaway entries, reports, blocked-user selections, and other information you voluntarily provide through the app.
If you enable push notifications, the app may store a device push-notification token so that Hooligan Builds can send notifications you have chosen to receive.
How We Use Information
We use this information to operate Hooligan Builds, maintain user accounts, display community builds, process giveaway entries, provide product links, moderate user-submitted content, prevent abuse, provide customer support, and improve the operation and security of the app.
Third-Party Services
Hooligan Builds uses third-party service providers to operate certain app features. These may include Supabase for account authentication, database services, file storage, and backend services; Shopify for Hooligan Scale Models product information and product links; and Apple and Expo-related services for application and notification functionality.
These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and are subject to their own privacy policies and terms.
User-Generated Content
Build photographs, titles, descriptions, usernames, and other information that you intentionally submit for public display may be visible to other Hooligan Builds users.
Giveaways
When you enter a giveaway, we may store your account identifier and giveaway-entry information in order to verify eligibility, prevent duplicate entries, administer the giveaway, and select or contact winners.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate Hooligan Builds, when required by law, or when necessary to protect Hooligan Scale Models, Hooligan Builds, our users, or others.
Data Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the app, provide requested services, maintain security, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable legal requirements.
Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your Hooligan Builds account directly within the app through the account settings. Account deletion is intended to remove your account and associated personal information and user-generated content, except for information that we may be legally required to retain.
Children's Privacy
Hooligan Builds is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information stored through Hooligan Builds. However, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Hooligan Builds features, services, or legal requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
